Pirate Camp – The Science of the High Seas!
March 13-17
Grade levels: K-4
ARRRGH you ready for an adventure? Come aboard and explore the science that allowed pirates to sail the seven seas. Learn how to navigate with the stars, the story behind eye patches, how to keep your ship afloat and so much more as you join our pirate crew for a week of high seas science adventures!
Campers will also have the opportunity to explore the Museum’s exhibit halls, including our latest exhibition, The Science Behind Pixar, presented by NexPoint.

Schedule
The following information is valid for all grade levels:
Camps will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Drop-off: 8:45 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- Please walk your camper down to the Lower Level Learning Lab Gates.
- A Camp Staff member will be there to check in campers.
Pickup: 3 to 3:15 p.m.
- Please pick up your camper at the Lower Level Learning Lab Gates.
After-care (additional cost): 3:15 to 5 p.m.
- A Camp Staff member will be at the Main Entrance to sign out campers.
As a reminder, late pickups will be charged $15/15 minutes.
Parking will be located on Houston Street.
