Whether you’re exploring the wonders of science or enjoying delicious treats in the sunshine, the Perot Museum will make for an unforgettable experience.

Skip the Box Office lines and receive guaranteed entry with a Perot Museum membership! Enjoy free general admission, discounts and reciprocal admission to other science museums through the ASTC Passport Program.
Eats and Drinks on the Plaza
Soak up the spring sunshine outside on the Plaza!
- Beverage stations: There will be a kid-friendly mocktail station with fun toppings like gummy bears and pop rocks, while adults can unwind with refreshing beer, wine, and mimosas. Coffee and hot chocolate will also be available.
- BBQ: Witness the authentic craft of Texas BBQ as brisket is expertly carved and chopped to order.
- Snacks: Enjoy classic favorites like fresh popcorn, pretzels and cotton candy.
Plaza food and beverage stations will be open daily from 10am-3pm beginning Monday, March 10.
The Museum Café will be open daily from 9am-4pm with additional options.


STEM Activities
Dive into the world of science with exciting hands-on activities!
- Science on Stage: Witness fascinating live science demonstrations from our educators.
- Bio Lab: Grab a lab coat and perform hands-on experiments such as the exploration of how sound travels through our bodies.
- ChallENGe Lab: Flex your creative muscles and enjoy art, engineering and tech programming.
Bio Lab and ChallENGe Lab activities (Level 2) are come-and-go.
Science of Stage demonstrations will take place in the Lower Level Auditorium. Additional information below:
- Suiting up for Space — Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Thermal Reactions — Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Shows will be held at 10:30am, 12:30pm, and 2:30pm, and will last approximately 30 minutes. Seating will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Glow Lab and Children’s Museum Lite
While the current Moody Family Children’s Museum is closed for an exciting renovation project, there are two interactive exhibit spaces for younger explores on the Lower Level. Children’s Museum Lite features popular activities from the existing Children’s Museum, and Glow Lab provides a vibrant, illuminated space to build, play, and explore endless possibilities.
Glow Lab is supported by Visit Dallas and City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
Museum Accessibility
Through our partnership with KultureCity®, we strive to make the museum accessible for everyone. For visitors with sensory processing needs, we offer:
- Sensory Bags: Available at the Box Office, these bags include KCVIP badges, feeling thermometers, fidget tools, and noise-canceling headphones.
- Headphone Zones: Designated throughout the museum for quieter moments.
- Quiet Area: Located on the Lower Level, a dedicated room provides a calm space.
